Winter in the Hudson Valley has its own magical way of telling you to slow down; it’s the snowfall that mutes everything, allowing you to stay cozy wrapped up in a blanket and savor hot cocoa while watching your favorite movie. But if you really celebrated the snow, you made your own snow sled (garbage can top, laundry basket, or a cardboard box) and went down the first hill you saw.
And because this is HVNYRican, we’re pairing the most important part of the day: warming up with cafe con leche, hot chocolate, sancocho, or chicken noodle soup at your favorite Latin bakeries or other local favorites.
