Hello,
I’m Jen
I’m a Puerto Rican with a deep love exploring the Hudson Valley and exploring my heritage. By profession, I’m a nurse. At home, I’m a wife and mom. At heart, I’m a professional sightseer and storyteller, always chasing scenic views, good food, and moments that deserve to be shared.
Most of my weekends, you’ll find me wandering small towns in search of good food, especially anything with Latin flavor, and browsing local shops that carry the town’s charm. If the weather is kind, I’m walking or hiking scenic trails or going back in time at historical landmarks.
When I am home, I’m discovering new authors, vibing to new sounds, and testing a new recipes or self-care routine.
I live for the holidays, so much that Christmas music starts playing before Thanksgiving. Yes, the kitchen gets chaotic but I’ll make any excuse to bring my family together. Whether it’s pernil and coquito in November or a summer BBQ that needs a side of rice and guandules and a fight over a UNO game. You’ll find recipes here to inspire your own traditions.
While you’re here take what you need, share what you love and don’t forget to pin your favorites on Google Maps.
When I am not in the Hudson Valley, I’m in Puerto Rico to reconnect with my heritage and spending time with my mother or taking as much quality time with fam in the south.
